Overview

The Okefenokee Swamp Sounds library contains 8 noise-pollution-free tracks from the largest blackwater swamp in the world. Recorded in early spring, natural ambiences include: earth shaking thunderstorms, echoing owl choruses, otherworldly frogs, and peaceful nightscapes.

Maximized for realism, each track was recorded with a binaural microphone array that simulates human hearing. This technique gives each ambience a three-dimensional sound image that will make you feel like you’re really there when listening with headphones.

Months of research, travel, exploring, camping, and post production was required to create this noise-pollution-free sound library. Each ambience is filled with the sounds of nature and nothing more. No cars, trains, planes or people. Simply the sounds of Earth.
