Overview

The Seasonal Forest sound library contains 51 unique recordings of ambient forests during all times of year. Maximized for realism, each track was recorded with a binaural microphone array that simulates human hearing. This technique gives each ambience a three-dimensional sound image that will make you feel like you’re actually there.

To capture the pure sounds of these ambient forests without any human noise pollution, I traveled to the deepest, most remote regions of National Forests and other large tracts of forested land. Over the course of two years, I amassed this great selection of different forests, elements, and wildlife species.

These recordings would add a great deal of realism to documentaries, films and video game environments and atmospheres.
